Disney for college kids

My borfriend and I are looking for the cheapest and most fun ways to go to Disney World and Universal for spring break next year. Any suggestions on which parks to go to and which ones to avoid? (and best ways to find cheap airfare/hotels?)

Disney isn't cheap at all but expensive. Admission is $50 to each park per day. Hotel rooms can be cheap outside the park. For good deals check out Mousesavers.com.

None are cheap. We are about the same age and I really enjoy Epcot for at least a day, MGM for a day and the waterparks for several, and Magic Kingdom is always fun - great at night when the younger kids are gone. Personally I think the flex pass is a good deal because I can run from one park to another after they close in the same day. I have not been to Universal in Florida though, but is very fun too. I really enjoy the water park because we don't have any near home (Oregon) and I love to swim and water play, but if you have one close then probably would skip those.

One way to save is to either skip lunch or pack one. Drink water you fill at the hotel, not pop, share fries instead of ordering two etc.... Our last trip out we had a camelbak and it worked great. We got one with a small pack and a water bag. We packed lunchables and granola bars and it allowed us to splurge on ice cream later.

Have fun!

You should go to Islands of Adventure at Universal, which is my college-age kids' favorite. The best thrill rides, and the theming is newer than the Disney parks and extremely well done.

I agree that you'd love Universal's parks. Go to www.mousesavers.com and www.disboards.com for great info on the parks and discounts.
