We are going to Orlando for a couple of weeks and want to go through Disney. Where is the best place and cheapest to buy tickets?
Thanks

Juno, do you realize that you have posted to a thread that hasn't been active in a year? I think you'll get a lot more hits if you post a new threat. Anyway, I just did the ticket research this week! AAA had the best prices that I found. Their 5 day park hopper is the same price as Disney's 3 day park hopper.

Oops, should have proofread. I do not encourage threats :)

A ticket consolidator such as www.UndercoverTourist.com will have the cheapest prices. Note that the prices quoted on their site include tax, while prices quoted at Disney and others do not.

Here's the MouseSavers page on tickets and discounts:

If you can book your travel soon, Disney has a Buy4/Get3 free deal (hotel/tickets) going on. You must book by Jan. 24. I can't remember the travel dates for the promotion, but it's definitely worth checking out. We priced out a trip in early March and we can get tickets and room for two adults at a WDW Value Resort for just over $1000 for the week. www.DisneyPark.com

I guess I am guilty as well by posting to a thread over a year old - but I think many people go back to the old ones if they happen to have the same trip planned.

MPM - are you serious - my husband and I (in our 60's) were just like little kids at DisneyWorld - we loved it - don't know if they still have the same show that we saw mid 2007 - La Nouta or LaNouba - you will enjoy that as well for adults.

Just let your hair down and enjoy the Park as well as being with the kids that enjoy it so much.

Orlando is a great town for adult fun from shopping to dining to museums to theater, but for a really authentic experience you MUST get off of Disney property. Disney World is not all that Orlando has to offer. Find a hotel off property or at least rent a car. Fodor's does a really poor job of covering anything in Orlando except Disney World. Really terribly inadequate coverage. Find another guide.
