Disney All Star resorts

Hi

Of the 3 which one do you perfer? It is really just a preference of if you like music, sports, or movies?
We are tehre for a wedding, 2 adults and wont be visiting the park

Thanks:)

Movies is the newest of the three but if you aren't there with kids I would spend a little more $$ and upgrade to a moderate resort. Because these are the cheapest they are teaming with lots of little kids and really geared toward little kids. If you can't afford or don't want to upgrade, the new Pop Century resort is in the same price range but just opened a few months ago so it's probably the nicest at this time.

Okay,

we are now thinking moderate resorts (can get a room for $100 in the beginning of march)

Any thoughts on the differences between Coronado,Caribbean,Port Orleans

It is just for 2 nights and we wont be going to the parks

thanks :)

Honestly, if you do the upgrade, I think you will be happy no matter what. That sounds silly, but I have been to Disney 7 or 8 times and I have always liked where I stayed. ( Boardwalk, Beach Resort, Yacht, Contemporary). If you can try to go to one park. If you are staying on property, it is SO easy to do no mater where you are as transportation is great. Have fun!

All three of those are nice-Where is the wedding? Maybe one is closer to the location. Coronado has more of a convention/business focus so you usually get less kids, my favorite is Port Orleans but all are nice. Port Orleans just finished a huge renovation so it's probably the "freshest" right now.

thanks for your thoughts!
The wedding invitation just says the Disney Wedding Pavillion in Lake Buena Vista

I love the Yacht Club, but right now it is a little cost prohibitive since this isnt a park/resort vacation...
but I still want to stay somewher nice!

I think that is located at the Grand Floridian hotel (or very near it). In that case, all three are pretty equal in distance. Check out Disney's website to see which theme of the three you like best.

do you know how far away any of these 3 moderate resorts are located to All Star Music resort (I thin this is where our friends will be staying)

I think we decided on CBR

When I called tho, they said in order to have a King bed we would have to be upgraded to a waterview... right now our rate is only $104, which I think is pretty good considering it is peak season!
