Discount on Maui luau
 

Hi -

I will be going to Maui next month and I was wondering if I will find any discounts on luaus. I found one on Boss Frogs website but I don't know if they can be trusted.

I have heard Old Lahaina Luau does not discount ever.

I got a very good discount for the Marriott's Luau, which we liked very much on www.tombarefoot.com. We have sons and they all like fire dancers, which are not Hawaiian but Polynesian. Just be aware that the discounted seats are not the best seats. We didn't realize that until we arrived and there was a bit of a discussion between the two hosts about where we could sit. The seats were fine BTW, but if you want to be "front and center" you may have to pay more.

Let me just add; If you want a really big discount, attend a time share presentation. Sometimes they will give you "free" tickets or $100 off. I say "free" because it depends upon what your time is worth. I find that an 8 am presentation works well because everyone is usually sleeping anyway.

I searched thoroughly prior to our trip last July, and no, Old Lahaina Luau does NOT discount, ever. This is reputedly the best one on Maui and we loved it!
