Anyone ever rent from this company? It's called Discount Hawaiian Car Rentals and they guarantee cars thru Thrifty? Their quotes are much cheaper than Thrifty's if you go online. I contacted them using the Hawaiian Visitor Center website. They quoted me $53.50/day for Jeep Wrangler. It's about $15 more if you check it out on Thrifty's website. I'm kinda nervous about it as I DON'T want to be stranded without wheels. Booked for 1 day on Oahu and one day on Big Island

I've used them more times than I can count and I always recommend them to family and friends when they come to visit. You will get an email comfirming your reservation, and you can cancel it or change it at anytimes. Sometimes they have free upgrade coupons on their website too.

You can get points and use your rental car company preferred member benefits, such as fast check in too, unlike booking through Priceline, or Hotwire. Your reservation is with the rental company, it's just a bit cheaper.

Thank you so much! I was a little apprehensive about using them as I emailed and asked if I should join Thrifty's "Blue Chip" member program online. They said NO, it would mess up my rate they quoted me. So, it made me a little bit nervous. Their quote was considerably cheaper than the rental car's website offers.
