Discount for Activites on the Big Island

Does anyone know of discounts available for activities on the Big Island? We have used several in past years on Maui (AOA Gold card, Barefoot Tom's, even a time share presentation when I was desparate and organizing activities for 11 of us!) but don't know about similar things on the Big Island. I am interested in some deep sea fishing, a hike with Hawaii Forest and Trail and a trip to the top of Mauna Kea. MANY thanks for your help!

I got some discounts through Tom Barefoot on my BI trip last year. We got an "internet special" for Sea Quest directly through their web site. You might also be able to get some discounts through your hotel. Arnott's has a good price for their Mauna Kea stargazing trip. Try the alternativehawaii.com (org?) web site, too.

We got the Diamond Card for sitting through a timeshare presentation for Paniolo Greens/Shell Vacations. The card cut the cost of many activities in half!

ChristyP,
We will be staying at the Paniolo Greens. How are the accommodations and services? What is a Diamond Card? Did the discounts include some local restaurants as well? Thanks.

Mahalo travellyn and ChristieP! I will check into them. When you are planning activities for 6-8 people it makes a big difference!
