Discount cards/moderate price Chicago hotels?

Know of any reasonably priced downtown hotels in Chicago accepting Entertainment (or similar discounts) that don't jack up prices to rack rates before discount is applied? Alternative is something reasonably priced to begin with (prefer $100 and under). This is for a single woman and her elderly mother, so nighttime safety is a concern. Thanks!
Try www.hotrooms.com They are supposed to be the number one hotel discounter for Chicago hotels. They have some really good deals at nice hotels. I have read many positive reviews about this service.
We were in Chicago last weekend. Last Aug. we stayed at the Westin on the n. end of Michigan Ave - we had a group rate for $99.00. It's across the street from the Hancock center and we thoroughly enjoyed the Observatory there last Sat. afternoon - we picked out places to go see after we came down from the 94th floor. Lots of nice shops are nearby on Michigan Ave. We walked several blocks south and took a nightime cruise on the river and Lake Michigan - very enjoyable. We walked back after dark and felt very safe. Ate both times in the Cheesecake Factory in basement of Hancock - huge portions, plan to share but very reasonable for the amount of food. Spent 3 hours last Sun at Navy Pier, rode the Ferris Wheel, etc. Enjoyed - still didn't make it to the museums which sound great - next time!
If the foregoing answers havent' been helpful, check out the Best Western on Ontario (or Ohio?) Street, one block off Michigan avenue (the "Magnificnet Mile").

We had an excellent value here last winter, and an excellent location. There's a lot to enjoy in this city -- Hope you think so too!
