Dis$neyland-How?

Went to Disneyland a few weeks back with friends and I have to ask: how do families afford Disneyland? It's a great place but expensive....everything is pricey: admission, food, snacks, souvenirs. must have to cost to be the happiest place on earth.

So how should we reply to this, Mimosa? You haven't said anything new. Of course it's expensive. I doubt there's a soul out there in fodorland who doesn't know this.

PB&Js in our knapsacks and few trinkets when I was a kid. We sisters would split a cotton candy. We had a blast.

Luckily, we lived in LA - no cost to stay in a hotel.

I was on a bus tour - 3 days - 2 night motel and admission to Disney and Universal - $199 per person.

You may try to join a tour... or get AAA discount... there must be coupons at visitors' centers... discount packages in hotels... just take your time to search.

Yes Dale I realize that Disneyland is expensive and I'm also aware everyone else does too.
I was just curious, that's all.

T

I have to admit I don't really understand the question either. People do the same things they do for any other event that costs money...they make it work or they don't go.
