Dinner stop between Boston and Bradley Airport in CT (Windsor)
 

Any recommendations for a great place to stop on route, maybe half way. I think it will depend on the traffic tonight. I am not looking for just pizza, or a diner, fast food or chains. If there is a hidden gem I would love to know about it. Love a great salad bar, or can be seafood, Italian, or other options. Thanks!

B.T. Smokehouse in Sturbridge, no contest.

I would agree with the previous post. Or in Enfield, you have all the typical mall chain restaurants.

jubilada, thanks for the suggestion to go to B.T. Smokehouse, that was great! I felt like I was back in Nashville. The only problem is I should be asleep in my hotel room for a 6:40 AM flight out of Bradley but I am still so full. I had the brisket reuben, huge portions. It was delicious. The hand cut fries were so good and all of the sauces, yum. I will be sure to tell friends about it who who do the Boston- NY trip regularly.

Yes. Hands down BTs. We stop every trip thru.
