dinner rec's in honolulu and kaanapali area's?

Aloha,
Does anyone have dinner suggestions...some upscale and some laid back? Seafood isn't my favorite so I'm a little concerned.

Thanks!

We like Roys a lot. Its upscale but casual dress. On Ka'anapali, we love Leilani's on the Beach. My kids love Cheeseburger in Paradise, Moose McGillicuddy's for really laid back, A Saigon Cafe, casual, good prices, Kobi's for Japanese is okay.

Check Jlo's post on her Hawaii honeymoon itinerary-I've listed a few there-my very favorite restaurant in the world-Keo's Thai Restaurant on Kuhio Ave. One of the loveliest restaurants you'll see, and the best for Thai food.

Jverrine: as an addendum: make sure it is Keo's of Waikiki at 2028 Kuhio Ave. Keo has branches of his famed restaurant, (he has a cookbook as well) but you want to go to the original-I saw that Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines rated Keo's the best Thai restaurant in the U.S., and one of Honolulu's choicest dining spots. Having dined there for over twenty years, I could not agree more.

Honolulu: Duke's Canoe Club in the Outrigger on the Beach

Kaanapali: Leilani's, Hula Grill (both at Whaler's Village)

Actually Keo's On Kuhio Ave. is the newest of the restaurants that he owns opened in 1997. The original Keo's was on Kapuhulu Avenue. His first restaurant was the Mekong on King St. that opened in the later 1970's and is still their today. Aloha!
