Dinner on the golf course?

We are going to Wailea for spring break and a friend of mine recommended a restaurant (She can't remember the name)that is terrific and has a beautiful view of the golf course. Does anyone know this place?
Also, she said her family took a whale watching trip from a dock in Wailea that included snorkeling in partially submerged reefs, whale watching and a great picnic lunch. I would like to book reservations for these and any help would be great.
Thanks, Holly

She's probably talking about the SeaWatch restaurant which is located on the Wailea Gold Course. Another very good restaurant in Wailea is Joe's bar and Grill located by the tennis courts in Wailea.
As for taking a whale watching trip from a dock in Wailea she must be thinking of Kihei since there is no dock and thus no whale watching trips leaving from Wailea.

I believe Laurie is correct in naming Seawatch as the restaurant to go to on the course at Wailea. They offer excellent meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Your views are as much of the Pacific as the course--Really wonderful.

I believe the same people who run Seawatch also run the Plantation House restaurant located on the world famous Plantation Course at Kapalua. I liked the menu and food better at Seawatch but there are many devoted fans of this place. You see the Pacific at this restaurant but probably more of the course.

The "expert" comes through again! And agaiin!!

Thanks for your help. I am having our hotel (Kea Lani) send me the info on the whale watching. It may be from the pier at the Prince hotel.
I appreciate your help Sidney, but I must give you my humble opinion re: your attitude of superiority. I have read many of your posts and while helpful, they always leave me wondering why you must continually pat yourself on the back. Anyone can appreciate someone's knowledge on something without having it jammed down their throat. Just a thought...
