Dinner in Portsmouth?

It looks like we're going to be in the Portsmouth area for dinner on a road trip up the Maine Coast. Where would your recommend we have dinner? We have three children 4,7,9 and my husband will want a microbrew.

Is the Portsmouth Brewery too obvious? It's very convenient, right downtown on Market St - the main road you use after exiting Rt. 95. Family friendly. If you like BBQ, the Muddy River Smokehouse is supposed to be great. Very casual and they serve microbews. Happy Trails!

Muddy River is a great spot - micro brews are all over Portsmouth...You can't get away froom them.

Either the Portsmouth Brewery, the Gaslight or the Red Hook Brewery.

Great suggestions Wyatt. The only reason I didn't recommend Gaslight is that they have 3 kids, and you have to choose ahead of time whether you eat downstairs for pizza or upstairs for burgers. That always causes family strife before you even sit down! :)
