Dinner Ideas Near Gershwin Theater in NYC
 

On Friday night my husband are attending Wicked at Gershwin Theater, 222 West 51st Street. Any recommendations on where we could go for dinner? Please also let me know if you think making reservations on Monday or Tuesday may be too late!

We'll eat almost any type of cuisine. We'd like a nice meal, but nothing extravegant as far as price.

All of these are good for before or after theatre dining. No problem getting reservations for after theatre, pre-theatre may be more of a problem week of going, especially on a Friday. But try -- they won't all be full.

We really are wide open to options as far as cuisine. As for budget, I'm open there too, though it would be great if two of us could eat for $75 or less.

Easy to "eat" for that at any of those. How much and what you "drink" with it is another matter. LOL

ViceVersa is very popular and has a prix fixe dinner for $35 if the offerings on that appeal to you. You should try to book it asap. You can book online using opentable.com
It's showing opening at 5:30 (but not 6) I'd grab it.

NeoPatrick - Thank you for the recommendation to ViceVersa. It was about 1.5 blocks from Gershwin theater so it was very conveniant. We enjoyed the food and thought the service was excellent. My husband used to serve fine dining and even he was impressed with the service, which doesn't happen often.
