I just ate at the Buckhead Diner and thought it was worth mentioning.

Hi. Seegers is an excellent dining experience but so expensive!!! Both times I've eaten there I left feeling that it wasn't worth it (and I did not have that feeling after French Laundry in Napa or Charlie Trotter's in Chicago). Aria is great. Pano's and Pauls isn't quite what it used to be but you can still get a very good meal there. Mumbo Jumbo is good and has a cool bar. Fago De Chao is an upscale chain, you need to be super hungry and love all types of meat or its not worth going. Some other top notch choices you may want to consider: Bachanalia (probably the best food in Atlanta), Oscar's (on the Southside near the Airport), Park 75 (in the Four Season's Hotel), La Tavola.
Hope this helps!

I've eaten at Fao De Chao's several times but Aria is actually our favorite restaurant. We ate there just this past Friday. The pork is excellent, the lobster cocktail fabulous. There were six of us, we all shared and the food was incredible. Not one complaint in six snobby eaters!

Theresa

Fogo is great fun. Afterwards, walk (perhaps it will be 'waddle' after a meal at Fogo) north a couple buildings to one of the worlds great martini bars

I would take out Mumbo Jumbo and add Bacchanalia to the list.

I agree you should x Seegers. The servings are tiny and the prices are gigantic. I suggest BluePointe, in Buckhead. If you like fish, I highly recommend Kyma, it a Greek seafood restaurant that specializes in whole fish. It is fantastic!
