Hotel comments
Still searching for a hotel in NYC for 10/2-10/4. Found rate of $168/night without tax at Martinique on Broadway (Holiday Inn,). Any comments regarding rate, location, condition of rooms, area, staff, etc. Checked previous posts but most are 2001-2003. Has anyone stayed there recently? Would really appreciate some info. Thanks.

You'd get better responses if your subject was more descriptive, yet concise, than "hotel comments". Even if you clicked on "New York", etc., all messages go into one big "United States" forum, and no one can tell by your title what you actually seek.

And the FIRST sentence of the "Post a New Message" screen reads: "Make your message easy to find: Give it a clear, identifying title"
GoTravel: you can cut the copied link after the message number, as in

I know some browsers have problems when the line "wraps"

On quickbook.com the Clarion Hotel Park Ave. is $167 and the Eastgate Tower Suite Hotel is $169 for your dates. Both get better reviews on tripadvisor and would be preferable locations for me vs. the Martinique
