Dinner at Mamoun’s NYC
While eating at Café Reggio in June we noticed how busy Mamoun's was, so now of course we want to try it for our August trip! Since there is very little seating inside I thought maybe we could do take away, but where would we take it? Is there a park anywhere near by? Eating dinner standing on the sidewalk is not appealing nor is taking falafel back to the hotel, which is in midtown! Any suggestions?

two place - walk two blocks east and two blocks north to Washington Square, or walk one block west to 6th Avenue, and a block or so south to the newly renovated Father Demo square - at the intersection of Bleecker and 6th Ave.
Bring extra napkins.

Yes - there are benches and some steps circling a small fountain . . . it actually isn't a square, it's now a triangle across from Our Lady of Pompeii Church - I think it's a place for some of the best people watching around . . .
