Dinner at a Napa Vineyard
Hi, we are staying in St Helena for 2 nights. I've read lots of recommendations for restaurants and wineries in Napa, but we'd like to have dinner at a winery (if possible). Any suggestions? Romantic would be a plus. Thanks!

We have had many wonderful dinners at Domaine Chandon in Yountville.
http://www.chandon.com/restaurant/default.html The food has been excellent every time and the service has always been very good as well. The other spot we really like is the Culinary Institute Greystone in St Helena http://www.ciachef.edu/restaurants/wsgr/The food is exceptional there - at least go for lunch. |
Domaine Chandon is an excellent choice. They have a very nice patio area where you can dine alsfresco if the weather is nice. ***kim*** ((f))

The recommendations above are good ones! Tra Vigne in St. Helena is not a winery but has great food in a Tuscan style setting. The patio dining is very relaxed with lots of plants.

Since you're in the area, check out Healdsburg and the Sonoma area... we residents prefer it to Napa...that being said, Domaine Chandon is a wonderful choice..but I prefer lunch there so one can see the lovely gardens..
