Dinner After Radio City Dec 14th 5:30PM
 

My wife and I live in Central NJ and are taking our 3 & 7 Yr.old to the 2:00PM Christmas Spectacular on Weds Dec 14th.and then we have tickets for the observation deck @ Top of the Rock for 4:30PM. So we are looking for suggestions for a fun place to have dinner with the boys within walking distance to Rockefeller Center @ 5:30PM. Unfortunately the Center Cafe @ the Rink is closed for a private party. We we're thinking of going to Mars 2012. So we are looking for reviews if you've been there and also any other suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Dreadful food at Mars. Would be my idea of hell. Ellen's Stardust Diner with singing waiters or Mangia e Bevi for same but Italian food.

Agree on Ellen's Stardust - the kids will love it - and while the food is not the best it's certainly edible - and about 5 steps above MARS.

Any other suggestions?

How about Ruby Foos, which is fun, and colorful, and has interesting food which they can pick at. Most kids seem to love Chinese.
