dining with a two-year old on Kauai
we are going to Kauai in March with a a two-year old boy, and we are wondering about good family friendly restaurants.
|
Island residents tend to take their kids everywhere with them...no restaurant is going to turn you away because you have a small child with you. Truly.
There are just a handful of restaurants on our which (IMHO) might not be fun for a 2-year-old: A Pacific Cafe (Kapa`a) Tidepools (Hyatt - Po`ipu) Roy's (Po`ipu) La Cascata (Princeville Hotel) |
Agree with AuntieM.
Most restaurants are family oriented but for the ones she listed...maybe add the Princeville, too? Very "ohana" island for the most part. |
Agree with above Nver felt unc omforable with a variety of ages of kids ove the yrs . A few that come to mind immediately are Kountry Kitchen in Kapaa, Oki Diner in Lihue(last time i was there, the cook's 2 young daughters were helping serve! )and Hanamaulu Tea House(in one of the private rooms off the courtyard) .
