dining with a two-year old on Kauai

we are going to Kauai in March with a a two-year old boy, and we are wondering about good family friendly restaurants.

Island residents tend to take their kids everywhere with them...no restaurant is going to turn you away because you have a small child with you. Truly.

There are just a handful of restaurants on our which (IMHO) might not be fun for a 2-year-old:

A Pacific Cafe (Kapa`a)
Tidepools (Hyatt - Po`ipu)
Roy's (Po`ipu)
La Cascata (Princeville Hotel)

Agree with AuntieM.
Most restaurants are family oriented but for the ones she listed...maybe add the Princeville, too?

Very "ohana" island for the most part.

Agree with above Nver felt unc omforable with a variety of ages of kids ove the yrs . A few that come to mind immediately are Kountry Kitchen in Kapaa, Oki Diner in Lihue(last time i was there, the cook's 2 young daughters were helping serve! )and Hanamaulu Tea House(in one of the private rooms off the courtyard) .
