Jan, There is a restaurant in the Brick Town area of Oklahoma City that sits right on a baseball field. I am SO sorry that I can't remember the name of it, but perhaps someone from OKC will read. We played in a soccer tournament there a couple of years ago and took our group of teenage boys there. They loved it; food was good and a decent price range. It was a "Sports Bar" type of restaurant. Also, the boys had a good time roaming around Brick Town. I hope someone can come up with the name of it for you.

That might have been Varsity. Or there is one named after a sports figure I think. Not a fancy place, but always long lines is Ted's for Mexican food on North May. Zio's for Italian. Bahama Breeze on Hefner Lake for atmosphere. Anything in Bricktown is nice. There are a lot of chain places around too. Casino de mingo is good food too.

There's a fancy seafood place on Hefner lake too. Lighthouse something may be the title. It's right near Bahama Breeze.

You could go to Harry Bears for fried peaches.

That restaurant at the Bricktown Ballpark referred to earlier is Coach's, a nice sports bar/restaurant featuring memorabilia on the walls.

And in reference to the above post, that "Lighthouse" restaurant no longer is. It is now Pearl's Lakeside, a seafood place. As mentioned earlier, though, Bahama Breeze for Caribbean-inspired cuisine and Redrock Canyon Grille for American are both excellent. The latter is a bit more upscale and less themed: a don't know if a pack of young 'uns would fit in. The best time for all three are just before sunset: the view of the lake is absolutely stunning.
