Dim sum NYC midweek

We have a group going to NYC and would like to have dim sum but have conflicts on Sat and Sun. Are there any good Chinese restaurants that offer dim sum on Mon?

The Golden Unicorn is open for dim sum on Mondays & is great fun for a group.

Awesome! You've just made some people very happy. Thanks!

We ate at the Golden Unicorn on our last visit to New York and I must say the food was mediocre at best. Decor and service were fine but the dim sum was disappointing, a huge step down from dim sum we've experienced in San Francisco and Vancouver.

Sorry, I can't give other options, but hopefully other posters will have additional suggestions for you.

If your group is large Golden Unicorn might be a stretch, most of the tables there are not very big. I would suggest HSF which is one of the best Dim Sum in the city, and all the tables are large, seating 8 to 10. All the restaurants serve Dim Sum all week from 10am till 3ish. The BEST Dim Sum is on Mott St ( we think so anyway, and we are there just about every weekend), called Mandarin Court, or for a WONDERFUL dinner head a bit further south on Mott to the Peking Duck House and order heavenly Peking Duck.

Have a fun time.

Oh! I love the Peking Duck House on Mott!
We used to eat there when Mayor Koch would pop in for some duck :)
Wo Hop is good too, across the street.

Jin Fong is my favorite. I take a group of coworkers there every other month.

Try http://newyork.citysearch.com for more details. I have written quite a few reviews of restaurants on the site.

Enjoy.

You really need to look at www.chowhound.com and do a search on dim sum. There are many, many posts on this topic there, many written in great detail. Some dim sum places have menus and some have only the carts.
