difficulties in posting replies
 

Hello,<BR>twice today I tried to post replies, and twice it wouldn't take my reply, I had to re-type and post again. Anybody has the same problem?

I had problems last week but then I got a brand new computer Monday and they stopped.<BR><BR>The snowflakes are back.

Yes, I have had the same problem.

I don't know why I can't post reply messages. Do you think it is me, my computer, the website or some unforseen problem?

I've been able to post for the past two days but for the past few weeks prior to that, I could post only about 10% of the time. I wrote to [email protected] about the problem. I did not get a reply but since I can now post, perhaps they did something.

Howard<BR>I notice you are AOL also. Do you think this might have something to do with it? I have 5.0, what do you have?

Don't you just love these messages posted by people who can't post?<BR><BR>And who is Howard, and how did you determine he is on AOL? What's missing here?

Why<BR>This tread has everything to do with this TRAVEL WEB SITE We are having trouble &quot;posting&quot; and want to figure out why. You appear to be a young, uneducated someone looking for an excuse to be rude.

I too have had problems posting today and also in the past. I now copy each post so if it doesn't work I just paste it instead of retyping.

I mentioned last week you have to delete the extra accumulated cookies on your computer. That is what my husband did on my computer. I couldn't post either. I thought it was fodors but it is more than likely your computers. At least that was my problem. That resolved the problem for me.

I removed all the cookies, emptied the AOL cache, defragmented my hard drive, and still could not post. It was a Fodor's problem that is now resolved, I hope.

what do all the abbreviations mean I see on here-IMHO, tops???

When I first found Fodors I wondered what it meant also but I figured it out to mean In My Honest Opinion. Also I have wondered about my DH. I think that means &quot;darling husband&quot;. As in SO, (Significant Other.)

I spent about a half hour writing a trip report and lost it - never showed up. Then tried again - same thing. Don't really want to spend the time again on such a lenthy posting and have it not show up.
