DFW to Paris - 767 or 757?

My favorite coach seat in a 777 is 31a or h.
The thought of flying a 767 or 757 to Paris freaks me out a little.
I just can't imagine a 757 to Europe!
Is there anyone out there VERY familiar with the AA 767 and 757?
I am considering breaking the trip into 2 segments (DFW-BOS-CDG) so I can have a moment to get up and stretch my legs.
Yes, I know about SeatGuru.
I like BULKHEAD. I like to have a wall directly in front of me so I can bring my legs up above my heart.
Seatguru does not indicate how far away the wall is... if the configuration of the 757 is the same as the DFW-LAS 757's, there is a substancial space... too far to bring up your legs.
31a and h on a 777 can be booked in advance and have the protruding exit door... that's perfect.
I'm torn. I may even fly to London and connect to ORY if I can better seats.
Any advice at all is appreciated.
I am AA Plat and must fly all atlantic routes on AA.

Definitely 763. I can't stand flying a narrow-body across the pond!

My go-to seats are Row 21 A/B/H/J on 767. Those seats have TONS of legroom, AND a seat in front of you to stow your purse.

BTW, if you must fly 757, I like 10 A/F, but I usually freeze when I sit there because the cold air leaks through the emergency exit door. Even when I have 2 layers of blankets, those seats are still frigid.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! Thanks a million YK! I figured people were gonna make fun of me for this post :)
I am a little OCD about seat assignments!

Well, I thank you both !
I always want first hand knowledge of seats, especially on long haul flights. Frigid and/or cramped does not a happy traveler make, LOL !
This is going in my future trip files.
THANKS yk & TxTP !!!

If you can't upgrade or get the exits, go to London. Unless AA has revamped its 767s, they suck -- cramped (17.5 inch seats???, and that 30-inch pitch isn't: I measured just a tick over three hand widths between my seat and the person immediately in front of me, and with my hands, that's about 27-27.5 inches), and no amenities (overhead monitors, no personal screens, which I had on SORRY-A## OLYMPIC AIRWAYS IN 2001 [that's for any AA execs reading this]).

Oh, excellent point Russ. London may be the best option!
