I live in Sachse and work at the North end of DFW so I can do just about any location North of I-20.
I never go out in Dallas, what's a good place?

As someone said - Sandy? - I spend more of my time on the Europe board. Has there been a post there?

Anyplace in the Dallas area works for me. One such place could be the Addison area - close to 635 and the North tollroad for easy in and out access for several. Lots of places there such as Blue Mesa; a Fridays and an El Paso come to the top of my head. (Blue Mesa has better and free happy hour snacks tho! ;-) )

You all are making me veerrrrry jealous you know...especially when you mention Blue Mesa as a possibility. Someone needs to bring a camera to post a picture online...or you need to find a spot with a webcam and you can do the "Naples wave", for those of us unable to attend. ps...can I send my son and d-i-l in my stead? :)

I LOVE Blue Mesa! There's a new one in Southlake, but either the North Park or Addison one would be fine, too. This Friday is fine with me, but I will be TRAVELING next Friday.

Full speed ahead, there will be three of us from Garland. Blue Mesa is ok as tex-mex ..we've tried the one in Plano which features monthly special tequilas and offering guitar music in February. Whats the time, anddate?

The mall is across the street and I can hang out between the time I get off and the time we meet...I get off at 3pm.
Is there a specific day of the week that works well for all?

The bad thing about Friday is the traffic. Just terrible in all these areas.

Just got the word part of the team will be gone off and on for most of the month, and that means we'll have to be there, so give us a rain check for the next time, and have fun!!

Wedsnesday 2/18 will work fine for me. I can be at Northpark around 5:30 (thank heavens for Northwest highway).

We (3 of us) need to do a weekend, as we don't get off work until 6:00 or so and then it's an hour or more into Dallas . . .

I think Addison is still more central. There's some folks from Denton and going to Northpark is longer then necessary.

I can call Blue Mesa and ask them to reserve a table(s) so we won't bother the Friday crowd. They may require us to be in the bar but can check.

Ooops - just saw ChristieP is out on the 19th...how about the 26th? If you prefer this Friday I'm sure it works but I just thought it was too close to V-Day and early bird celebraters!

I'll be coming from Wylie and Addison is about the same distance for everybody traveling pretty far.

Sorry - won't be in town. I'll be in Alpine TX/Big Bend area on the 5th.

Since our passports are in for renewal we're limited to US travel til they come back so we're heading down there. (there's a Cowboy Poetry reading event that weekend providing another avenue for travel-learning.)
