destin ideas

I'm going to Destin, florida in June. We have 13 and 15 year old boys. Any suggestions on cool things to do. I have never taken the boys on a beach vacation. My husband gets bored at beaches easy too. I could lay on beach and stare at water all day. Trying to please everyone. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

You have posted your question on the Mexico & Central America forum. Did you meant to do that for Florida?

sorry I didn't realize. I'm trying to figure out how to delete it. I can't seem to figure anything out on this website.

Check out the following:

Big Kahuna's Waterpark
Crab Island
charter fishing
Destin Harbor Boardwalk (waterfront with shops, music, games, restaurants)
The Track Family Fun Park (go karts, miniature golf, bumper cars and boats)

If you don’t mind the cost—deep sea fishing is a cool experience especially for guys (young and old). Take a yeti and bring back your catches.
Also, we LOVED parasailing last time we were there with our teens. There’s also a zip line at the pier which is fun. And then all the stuff above that the others have listed.
Must eat at the Back Porch and McGuire’s. Can be long waits but the food is great! Enjoy!

Have your husband and boys research some things they'd like to do. I've been in your shoes, trying to come up with things to make everyone happy.....and it's difficult. :)

Let them look at this website and pick at least one thing they'd like to do. Less pressure on you!!!
