Destin Area - Help

Looking to spend @3-4 weeks in February. We have never been to the panhandle, always go down to St Petersburg area. Thought we would try something new, but finding the search a bit overwhelming. We are 2, late 50s, with a 8 lb Maltese, looking for a condo or townhome, with at least 1.5 baths. We want to walk the beach, bike ride, and eat great seafood! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone have general area or beach suggestions?

I haven't been to Destin in 20 years, but I've been several times to the 30A area and you can't go wrong anywhere from Rosemary Beach to Seaside/Watercolor. Last spring break we stayed at a nice townhome in Seagrove, and I know from other renters we met in our community that some units accept pets. Here is a link to a property manager that has several where we stayed:

Destin is crazy crowded and always jammed full of traffic and tourists. I second the recommendation for the 30A area (Grayton Beach is my favorite). I would also look into Pensacola Beach or Navarre Beach. I definitely prefer either to Destin.
