WhereAreWe We were originally looking at a round trip from Denver only because of airport problem so Cheyenne, Grand Junction were just stopovers. Have taken note re the park passes - where do you buy them? what are these styrofoam coolers - we don't have much need for coolers in the UK but a good idea where can we get one? We love hiking and wildlife and will enjoy the scenery whilst on the road. We had an amazing time in Yosemite a few years ago so I'm sure this trip will be just as good.

You can buy the park pass at the entrance to whatever national park you visit first.
Pretty much any supermarket will have a styrofoam cooler. Denver is only about 90 minutes south of Cheyenne, so unless you've already had a really long day in the car, I would go ahead and drive to Denver for your last night. Lee Ann |
I am looking at my Senior pass right now it is a 'Lifetime Pass for U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, 62 years or older', so it wouldn't work for them.
The regular National Parks pass would, and it is still a great deal! |
