Denver to Fort Collins
I fly in with my 16 year old daughter Thursday night; Oct. 31. 6:00 PM.
We will drive to Fort Collins Friday morning and stay the weekend with my nephew to hike and such.
What can my daughter and I do in Denver/North of Denver for one evening. Is there a great area in town to see / have dinner or something north of there?
This seems like such a minor question, but I thought I would ask. You never know. Thank you.

Why not just drive straight to Fort Collins when you arrive? It's Halloween night and downtown Fort Collins will be a happening place, if that suits your mood.
If you want it quieter there are a lot of decent restaurants along Harmony Road in south Fort Collins.
In theory you could be in Fort Collins by around 8:30.
Have a great trip in any case.

We stayed in Denver for the evening. Though I have to admit we were really hungry. All we wanted was a sandwich before going to REI. Unknowingly we walked into the Tilted Kilt. Hadn't heard of it before. It is essentially a Hooters, but girls with kilts. My daughter and I had a good laugh and ate mediocre food. We texted photos of the girls to her mother/my wife showing her what a good dad I am.
I appreciate your responses. We also enjoyed Ft. Collins the other days.

I missed this thread last week. Lol at The Tilted Kilt. Glad you could laugh about it at the time and I'm sure you'll enjoy many more laughs recalling it in the future.
You picked a great weekend for hiking weather!
