The most common way is to drive - it'll take about an hour, depending on where you begin, what the weather is like and how clogged up I-25 is at the time of your drive - construction at The Gap is ongoing and can throw a serious spanner in the works.
Or you could fly - 13 minutes in the air from DIA to COS. Usually expensive though.

Memphis Airport to Denver Airport. I am NOT going to drive myself. I am a Southern girl. We stay home a drink Cocoa on snow days!
I will be leaving the airport. I need help knowing what to book to get there. Yall, I am serious! I'll call the Antlers after Thanksgiving meal.

It's easy as pie.
Rent the car at the airport. Drive a little over an hour on the interstate and you are there.
As easy as driving to Jackson TN - and about the same distance. Half the time and distance to Jackson MS.
What does "southern" have to do with it? It's the interstate highway ssytem. If you can drive at home, you can drive in Colorado.
It's a half mile off the interstate. Easy peasy.

"Why the heavens not?!"
I think the OP doesn't want to drive for various reasons, including the fact that the trip to/from Colorado Springs can be horrific if we get a snowstorm.
I respect that choice, and don't feel compelled to belittle her plan.
And, frankly-- speaking as a resident-- we appreciate more people considering mass transit, than everyone trying to drive themselves, especially when they aren't comfortable with the idea.
So, no shame from me.
Just take a nice bus where you can relax and not stress over the driving or the directions. The hotel can probably recommend which one, and Google is your friend.

Since the OP wants details, as usual it is as easy as gooogling. From a page of sites this one was specific about 7 ways to do it.
