Denali lodging???

I was planning to stay at the Denali Princess for two nights during our July trip. Unfortunately the Denali Princess is not available for the dates I need. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice place to stay close to Denali? Thanks!

I am looking at Denali Cabins and McKinley/Denali Cabins. Prices are similar.Has anyone stayed at these and could tell me the difference?

Denali Bluffs Hotel or the Denali Grand. We stayed at the Bluffs when we were in the area a few years ago. It was fine; nothing elegant but very decent and clean. Haven't been to the Grand. The Grand was built in the last few years. So it is newer but likely to cost more.

Thanks Duh and MileKing for your suggestions. I will try to contact the lodgings you mentioned to check for availability!

I second the Bluffs. I stayed there and it was fine. Easy walking from there even though they do have a shuttle. There is also a restaurant and shop. The Grande is way up high on a hill, but very nice. The view is great up there.

No loss missing the Denali Princess- not a place I recommend except when they run the $99 specials. :) Consider my favorite Touch of Wilderness B&B in Healy.
