Delta at it again
Starting tomorrow Delta implements new carry-on rule; One carry on but if it does not fit in overhead or under seat and has to be checked will cost u $40.

I think that is sooooooo funny! I hate it when people bring huge duffel bags & suitcases on the plane. It slows everybody down, getting on & off the plane! You are supposed to bring on stuff that you need, while ON the plane!

Actually Ram I think you have it wrong. It's not a carry on rule but a checked luggage rule. You are allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage. Additional checked luggage will be charged $40. They are doing this because checked luggage has increased because people don't bring as many carry-ons since it takes them too long to get through security now.

If anything it's going to cause an increase in carry-on luggage!

Good for Delta! Hopefully all of the other airlines will follow. I can't stand those people who bring all that crap and oversized carry ons on the plane.

You know that others will follow suit as they're all looking at ways to cut costs / raise revenues. Keep repeating the old mantra as you gather your things ... "pack light!"
