Delsey Luggage?
We are looking to purchase new luggage. We found what we think our good prices on the Delsey Helium Lite 100 luggage. Wondering if anyone has this luggage and how they like it? The pros are that is is lite and it comes in some vibrant colors so it will be easy to spot a baggage claim. We usually fly 3-4 times a year. I don't want to spend a lot of money but would like to have something that will last awhile.

I like Travel Pro luggage. I have had it for 15 years and used to travel weekly. I was a our director and went may places and loaded my luggage on and off planes and busses.
This is my pick. I love it. |
I bought Delsey Meridian Luggage (the 21 inch carryon) for one of my stepdaughters and my husband this year for Christmas. I bought them the carrry on hard side. So far they both like the Delsey luggage.

I have been using Delsey now for a year. I fly every other week. The case is significantly lighter without giving up capacity and easier to handle. The colors selection gives you the opportunity to not be one more of the 100 black bags coming off the belt. Construction is durable, not one broken zipper tab or frey yet. The fabric is resistant to stain. The wheels, and extendable handle are all still like new. I would purchase again. I frequently put 500 to 600,000 miles on a bag and I think this one will make it.

I have 20" carry-ons by both Travel-Pro and Delsey. My Delsey is from the Helium line, but I don't think it's from the 100 series. I've only had the Delsey for 18 months, but I think it wheels equally as well as my Travel-Pro and is better balanced so it doesn't tip over as easily. However, it is a bit heavier than the same size Travel-Pro, and the way the handle is designed cuts into my packing space more. I still like it though. It certainly seems durable, but I haven't used it enough yet to really evaluate that.

This thread started 5 years ago, and it's pretty obvious the "new" poster is advertising.
