December Get-away

Can anyone suggest an interesting place to visit for about 4 days during December. We have been to NY, Chicago, Florida, Williamsburg and many other places and would like to try something new and see how that particular city/area celebrates the holiday season. We usually travel in the second week of December. We were thinking about Cap May or someplace on the east coast. Would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Jeanette, Cape May is a lovely quaint, town. Not sure in Dec. how exciting it would be and certainly not warm. They have wonderful B & B's. If it is just you and your husband it would serve as a nice get-a-way spot. Try doing a search under capemay.com. It will bring up all the bed and breakfasts and things to do in the area.

Nantucket has their Christmas Stroll around the 1st or 2nd week in December. Though I suspect it's largely one last retail opportunity for the nmerchants, it does look like fun and seasonal.<BR>

I don't know if this is your thing, but we are going to Vegas in December and it is very cheap. I've heard they've been hit hard in travel decline.

Try Stowe, Vermont. Beautiful area...a winter wonderland:)
