Deals on Leather Jackets
 

I will be visiting NYC soon and was trying to find a place that will give me a deal on leather jackets. I can get them for $60 here and was wondering if there were any places in New York that could do better.

One shudders to think what a $60 "leather" jacket looks like. Steve, you're in for quite a surprise in New York.

I can't imagine how horrible $60 leather feels like. The place for the best deals on supple leather is Italy. Not the neighborhood but the country.

The TAX is $60 on a decent leather jacket.

I buy leather goods in Canada because of the exchange rate and prevelance of leather in that country. I agree with the others, though. You simply can't get a good jacket for $60 anywhere.

I believe Orchard St. (crosses Houston) is where the leather market is. I've never been there myself but have a friend that swears by buying there. Not sure if most of the places are closed on Saturday (Jewish sabbath), you may want to go on another day.

Do they have good prices on leather jackets in India?<BR>I have a friend who is going there and I thought maybe they would be cheaper.
