kja, you would think that the Old Ebbitt Grill would be loud. Not so. I had requested a table in a quiet area for each night and got exactly what I was looking for. There are a lot of booths as well as banquets where the seating is thickly-padded and covered in a velvet-like material (synthetic probably).

We got lucky, that's for sure.
