DC Suite Hotels
 

Hi All,

Had a great time in DC last year at Summerfield Suites in Dupont Circle. But they are closed for renovations this year! Any suggestions for 1BR suite hotel close by? Need a pool and to be within 2 blocks of metro. Thanks!

I'd try the Embassy Suites around 22nd and M. That's a nice hotel.

Was wondering if Radisson Barcelo was nice. Have been reading that rooms are big but are they big enough so that kids and adults can have separate space?

The rooms at the Radisson Barcelo ARE large, but not so that you would end up with any kind of serious privacy. The pool is outdoors. I really like the hotel and I've stayed in the their suites a number of times, but they would be quite pricey unless you happen to be able to wrangle an upgrade.

Have you tried Capitol Suites which is near the Library of Congress buildings? I've only stayed in their rooms but they have suites and are reasonably priced. I don't think they have a pool though. Scratch that.
