Im going to DC just for one night. A short birthday trip for my bf. I was looking at hotels and found a good price for The Westin Grand Washington DC. Anyone know how this one is??

Also any tips on a really good Italian Rest. for a good birthday dinner.

The hotel is in a good location, but I don't know anything about the rooms. Good Italian can be found at Obelisk at Dupont Circle. Ristorante Tosca on F Street is also very good. Both are expensive. More moderately priced and a short ride on the Red Line metro to Cleveland Park is Dino's on Connecticut Ave.Check out the Washingtonian Magazine Top 100 Restaurants http://tinyurl.com/c6szry
