Daytona to Orlando

Can anyone tell me if there is a shuttle service from Daytona area to the Orlando Airport?
Flights from Daytona seem to be more pricey than those from Orlando, but without a car that's a problem.

Fairway,

There is the DOTS Daytona Orlando Transit Service in Daytona Beach. Their phone # is (386) 257-5411.

I have found that sometimes you get a better bargain renting a one way car from Daytona To Orlando. Specials can be as low as $25 a day. You rent the car one day, load it up, then drive it to the drop-off In Orlando the next day & they will shuttle you to the airport. Try Enterprise Car Rental or Budget. Hope this helps.

Thrifty also has one-way rentals.

Thanks for the help - it's for a student under age 25. I think car rentals are difficult for that age so not sure that will work. I'll check into the DOTS service.

I wouldn't automatically discount Thrifty (and maybe the others too).

According to Thrifty's web site, "The renter must be at least 21 years of age, though there are a few areas in which those under 21 have the opportunity to rent. Renters under the age of 25 will be subject to a daily surcharge."

I don't know how much the surcharge might be, but it's worth a look.
