Daycare in Durham

Not exactly a travel question, but everyone's been so helpful with these posts. For those with kids, can anyone recommend a daycare in Durham or Research Triangle Park? I have the list, I'm just not exactly sure which ones are good.
thanks!

Can you talk to friends in the area? what about the chamber of commerce or BBB. Trusting anonymity with travel is one thing but with the care of a child, not so sure.

Take the list and visit the daycare yourself and let instinct tell you what to do.

Yes, I'll do that for sure. I just don't really know anyone in the area. So I figured if someone had a lead then I could at least ask around based on that rather than starting from scratch.
You might look online for the local resource and referral agency. NACCRA has a website. The thing about child care is only you know what is important to you. that makes it hard to get advice from anyone else. The R&R's have checklists of ideas of what to ask and what to look for, ultimately it is your decision.

Syd1,

Glad you're on your way to Durham. If I remember right, your husband is transferring to Duke? If so, Duke may have some options for daycare or offer discounts to some places.

I don't have kids but my suggestions is to find one close to home or work.
