Day Trips from West Palm Beach
 

We will be in WPB in mid January visiting parents in their 70's. We have a 3 year old child. We are looking for activities or day trips appropriate for everyone. We don't even mind driving someplace not too far away and doing an overnighter.

Ideas?

Just for an afternoon, these are all local:
-Lion Country Safari
-Boynton Beach Children's Museum (includes history of the area AND has a great playground)
-Palm Beach Zoo
-South Florida Science Museum and Planetarium
-Calypso Bay Water Park

Drive South for FtLauderdale/Miami:
-Miami Children's Museum
-Parrot Jungle
-Miami Sea Aquarium

Drive North and stay overnight in Orlando Area:
-Sea World

I'd have a better idea of what to stear you to if I knew where you are visiting from.
