Day trips from Blaine, WA

I will be staying in Blaine during the first week of the Olympics. I would love ideas for what to do in the area or day trips for the days we are not heading to the Olympics.

Bellingham, 30 minutes south, has a variety of dining and entertainment options, and Seattle is a two hour drive south of Blaine.

Mt. Baker is the closest place for skiing.
