Day trips and B&B's near the Washington State border
Can anyone recommend a neat place to visit for the day, just over the washington state border...i.e., blaine, whidbey island, pt. roberts. B&B or lodge recommendations would be great too!~

jengyn,
I did a northwest trip last summer where the first stop was Port Townsend. I just loved this little town, some excellent restaurants, charming homes, cool galleries.
The B&B was Holly Hill House, a historic register Victorian. Gorgeous gardens, comfy rooms, fabulous breakfasts.
Have a great time!

This is a bit further and you'll want to do it on a nice day (and probably a couple of weeks from now), but how about a trip to the Skagit tulip fields and a drive along Chuckanut? I think there's a B&B in Bow, not sure about that.
