day trip to the Bahamas

My husband and I will be in Ft. Lauderdale (Lago Mar) in July and we would like to take a day trip over to the Bahamas. I have looked at several cruise lines online that offer such day trips but I am not sure which one would be best. Does anyone have any advice on these day trips including meals, cabin rooms, etc.? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the only cruise line with day trips to Freeport in the Bahamas is discovery cruise line.
They have specials going on for the spring/summer at their website, discoverycruiseline.com. Click on special offers. They have some days available for $49+tax for upcoming May and June dates.

The other cruiseliner, Imperial majesty only offers 2 day cruises.

Also you cruise free if it's your birthday month :)

This is a small cruise liner, nothing like Carnival, but meals are decent. THese prices are without a cabin.

Thank you! I will check them out. =)

vicweeks, I just noticed your question, and I believe those cruise day trips were created for the intention of checking into a hotel and staying overnight. The cruising time is too long, and the turnaround time too short to make it a reasonable day trip.
