Day trip to Jekyll Island
 

I live about an hour south of Jekyll Island and plan on doing a day trip there next week. It will be my first time visiting the island. I see there are a couple trolley companies. Is one better than another? I would love a lunch recommendation (especially if it includes key lime pie!). I also plan on going to the turtle rehab. Anything else I should do? Any tips are greatly appreciated!

There's a Sea Turtle Center and you can rent bikes and go on the 22 miles of trails on the island.

Someone is missing a great opportunity by not opening a restaurant called The Hyde Away on Jekyll Island.

I second renting bikes and riding around the island. Driftwood beach is a good stop on the north end of the island.
We love the Sunrise Grill for lunch. It’s in the downtown area and does serve Key Lime Pie.
I don’t have any experience with the trolley companies, so no advice there.
