Day's Inn in Wilmington?

How is the Day's Inn on Market Street in Wilmington, NC? I just need clean and safe. Any other suggestions for a budget motel in Wilmington? I'll be there in a week or so for just a couple of days.

I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn on College Rd., and it was always clean, and had a decent breakfast, including waffles you can make fresh yourself. The staff was friendly and accommodating for both stays.

If it's anything like most Days Inns, I would look elsewhere!

Popping back in to say, I checked the website of this particular Days Inn, and like Charleston and Savannah historic districts D.I.'s, it has 5-Sunbursts, and is supposed to be one of their best. I might be willing to try it, in that case, if I could get a good deal (and had a second choice in mind, in case all those "sunbursts" are shining when you get there! )

A five sunburst is usually really nice but I agree that you have to be careful. I understand that some Days Inns are franchises and might not be maintained as well.
