Do you mean the Dauphine Orleans, Dauphine House or Dauphine Inn?

Bob, it's a fine hotel. Not luxury but nice and in a good location on Dauphine in the Quarter. You'll appreciate not hearing the noise from Bourbon at night!

Bob: Stayed there last month. Room was very nice, quaint and very clean. Includes a free breakfast, (fruit, juice, coffee, cereals, milk, pastries, bagels and yogurt)and tea in afternoon. Visit Jeffrey in the bar. Great local stories and tips, and he mixes a great cosmo. Room was very quiet. Right across the street from Bayonna. Had a fabulous dinner there! Will stay there again when we return.

Great choice! So convenient to everything in the French Quarter (1 block from Bourbon St.) but so quiet and laid back. The free breakfast in the morning is great - served in a sunny nook next to the pool. The rooms are plain but comfy, and the original part of the property has an interesting history! Have fun!
