Danny Gans in Atlantic City

I live on the east coast and friends in Vegas have told me about the performer Danny Gans. Is he worth seeing and why?

I go to a business convention every year in Las Vegas. One of my co-workers (age 38) saw Danny Gans on a separate trip with his family and said he was terrific. Apparently, he can imitate anyone singing anything and my friend said he never laughed so much in years. Unfortunately, the Gans show was so popular that it was sold out two months in advance and we couldn't get tickets. Based on my friend's experience, I'd go. I hope you get a first hand review from someone else.

I don't get it.
What does Danny Gans have to do with AC?
BTW, he has been Las Vegas' top male performer time and time again over the past 8 years or so.
And tickets to his shows aren't THAT hard to get....unless you're there on a big convention weekend (which may have been Jeannette's situation).
The Mirage website has lots of details about his show.

Actually, the seats near the front row are very hard to get. But it's where you really want to be, even if it costs extra. Why? You can't see his facial expressions during his acts from the regular seats (the theatre is just too darn big, obviously so they could cram as many people possible). What some may not realize is that a big part of his impressions are of his facial expressions -- not just his voice!

He's performing in AC in July. When I was in Vegas last year, I couldn't get tickets the entire week I was there!

We were just at the Mirage, having dessert in the cafe by that showroom Wed. night when the Danny Gans show let out. Everyone coming out, and there were many, seemed in a really good mood. We price tickets and they were available at $ 80 or $100 each but we didn't want to pay that much. Hey, I saw Judy Garland in L.V. for $3.50 in 195-? and it's hard for me to get with today's prices!
