Dallas Restaurant w/ Private Room

I am planning a business dinner for about 50 people in Dallas. I am looking for recommendations for upscale restaurants with private dining rooms. Restaurants near the Wyndham Anatole Hotel would be preferred but don't mind taking cabs if necessary. Thanks!

Contact the Mansion at Turtle Creek.

Look at guidelive.com under restaurants. There should be something.

Most steakhouses will have something for you. Try Nick and Sam's or Bob's.

I would like to get input on the following restaurants that I found that look nice and can accomodate us. Seventeen Seventeen (at the Dallas Museum of Art), St. Martin's Wine Bistro, Hotel St. Germain, Ciudad, Mansion on Turtle Creek (probably not in our budget though) and City Cafe. I have left messages at Suze and Nana but haven't heard back from the yet. Most of these say they are around a 10 minute cab ride. Is it easier for people to take cabs or should I arrange transportation through the hotel? Thanks for any input.

Recently this article was in guidelive.com about Seventeen Seventeen (an excellent choice!):

Cuidad is great too.

Those would be my top choices - especially if they care enough to respond to you right away - big points in my book when you are arranging to spend a lot of money and get organized.

I must say that we celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary in a private room at the Mansion at Turtle Creek in October 1990 and it was "world class".
Perhaps LOLA (check www.lola4dinner.com) with their great wine list or IRIS might help - they are both outstanding.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Ciudad and loved it. Their food was delicious, margaritas were great, and atmoshphere relaxing. We've been back a couple of more times when we return to Dallas and have always been impressed.

Ciudad is pretty easy to get to from the Anatole. The only issue would be getting back from Ciudad. Cabs are not very plentiful around Dallas-- you would have to arrange the return in advance as well.

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to go with Ciudad.

Lo ciento, as I live in central Mexico, I can only describe Ciudad as overpriced and mediocre.
