Dallas Hotels
 

Will be traveling to Dallas for softball tournament end of July. Team is staying at Westin Park Central. Last minute booking for family is proving difficult and costly. Can you recommend other hotels close by? Tournament will be played in Garland.

Have found posted comments on Dallas area very informative. Hope someone can help me.

About a mile west of the Weston is the Galleria with numerous hotels around it. I like the Embassy suites since you get a suite and breakfast in the morning. There is also a Wyndam , Doubletree and Renaissance hotel in that area. Hope that helps.

Have you tried the AmeriSuites Hotel also located in the Park Central area? It's on Coit Rd / Central Expwy and not too far from the Westin Park Central (but lower in price !). Suggestions by missy2000 are good, however all those hotels are about a mile or so WEST of where the Westin Park Central is located. And since you'll all be traveling EAST on LBJ Frwy (635) to get to Garland, then I'd suggest looking at other hotels listed in "Park Central" area. I can't recall what they are, but do know there are a couple other hotels located right by the Westin Park Central.

There are lots of great weekend rates for these hotels because they are primarily corporate hotels.
