Dallas Brunch

It's the Mansion or French Room for Sat evening dinner, but where should we go for Sunday brunch? Doesn't have to be upscale, just good food, nice service.

I enjoy the brunch at the Melrose Hotel - The Landmark. Excellent and classy...
BTW, the French Room is awesome!

Greenville Bar and Grill,Greenville Ave near DT.Very excellent.Ziziki's at Travis Walk for a European flair.Greek/Mediterrean classy setting also not too far from DT.I am assuming you are staying DT by your reference to Mansion/Adolphus.....Further north, the Malachite Brunch at the Intercontinental Hotel is fabulous. But dressy is a must.Worth it however.Very heavy European influence excellent presentation.

Thanks for the responses. I believe after the Sat evening meal at a hotel restaurant I would prefer something more casual. However, not quite as casual as Greenville Bar and Grill. Any other recommendations.

Mattito's Mexican Restaurant, just down the street from the Mansion, has a very good and very popular Sunday Brunch. $13 w/mimosas and the food spread is fantastic: omelettes/waffles made to order, all bacon,eggs,ham,etc..then to the good stuff: mexican eggs, migas, enchiladas, tamales, fajitas,
taco bar, taquitos, a beautiful spread of all fruits..homemade guacamole...desserts galore...and, if you're still hungry...hot sopapillas for dessert! fUN, CASUAL AND A LOCAL FAVORITE.

I would recommend Baby Doe's near downtown Dallas for Brunch. It is in an old mine shaft and sits on a hill and overlooks downtown Dallas. Very classy. I believe the brunch runs approximatley $25 per person.

If I may toss out another suggestion for your Saturday evening dinner, one of the newest/best places to eat in that area is at the Dragonfly restaurant @ Hotel Zaza --- http://www.hotelzaza.com/
Stephan Pyles is the chef and it's gotten alot of kudos. I looked on their website and they also do serve a Sunday brunch, however it may be more upscale than what you're looking for.

Also second the suggestion for Mattito's Restaurant --- I've been there and it's more in line with my current budget restrictions.
